As soon as you step into the stained-glass entrance to our building, you’ll see our two infant sections. You’ll find play and relaxation nooks there, including a black-and-white corner (this is the first color contrast your baby will recognize, and is therefore stimulating to his or her senses), a reading corner, a playmat, and a play mirror. Each child is able to play and discover their environment at their own pace.
We like to retreat into our multi-sensory room with a small group of younger toddlers whenever it’s time for a little rest and relaxation. It’s a moment for everyone to take a breather or read a book together from our very own library. We’ve got a special toy cabinet for children aged 3 and up in the toddler sections, whose contents have been adapted to the stage of development of our oldest toddlers. When it’s naptime for our youngest children, it’s playtime for them! It’s all part of how we prepare our children for elementary school.
Step outside and you’ll see our pride and joy: our spacious, natural, and informal garden, replete with shrubs for hiding, a large sandbox, a slide, shade covers, two vegetable gardens, and picnic tables for balmy days.
We’re located in a child-friendly neighborhood, right next to the Hoeksteen elementary school and with easy access to the A1 highway.
