Circle time, reading stories to the kids, and engaging in all kinds of crafts are just a few of the activities we offer. The younger and older toddlers are given every opportunity for free expression, playfully discovering materials ranging from feathers and colored paper to the leaves we find in our yard.
Outdoors, children have more freedom and tend to feel more independent, and our newly created yard (featuring plenty of shady spots) was designed with this purpose in mind. The kids can ride their bikes, use the play equipment, get together, or hide in the bamboo if they like, while our infants can safely enjoy the fresh air in their own separate section.
Our facility is located in a quiet residential neighborhood (near the city center) and easily accessible, with excellent parking facilities.
In this location you will find Kindergarden Julianalaan
Exercise is important. That’s why our dancing instructor gives our infants and toddlers weekly dancing lessons. The children really love imitating movements while at the same time discovering what their bodies can do.
Our spacious and shady garden really invites children to start discovering and playing. There’s a screened area for the babies, which means that the older children can play to their heart’s content on the discovery path, the bamboo hide-and-seek woods, and the fun circuit that they can cycle or clamber over.
Our older toddler group focuses on each toddler’s specific developmental needs, helping to prepare them for elementary school. We aim to promote self-reliance and challenge them to do as much for themselves as possible, which is really useful when they start elementary school.
Exercise is important, which is why we offer weekly toddler yoga. This develops a good way of moving. We also practice keeping balance and we develop their fine and gross motor skills. They simply love it!
Every child lives in a world where everything impresses – and everything has an impact. That is why we work with horizontal groups at our locations.
Review from a parent
Our daughter has been going to Kindergarden Julianalaan for two-and-a-half years now. All the staff are so caring and nice to our daughter. She really enjoys being there. The location looks really neat and tidy and the children’s playground is beautifully laid out! The daily fresh and hot lunch is another plus point!

Frequently asked questions
Many of our locations have waiting lists because many places are currently full. We rely on cancellations or schedule changes to make a new place available for you. This makes it very difficult to estimate how long it will take before placement options come up. We offer places based on the registration date.
We also have two types of waiting lists:
- an internal priority waiting list for siblings and for extra days for children who already have a place
- a general waiting list for children who do not yet have a place at Kindergarden.
To increase the chances of securing a spot, we recommend enrolling your child as soon as possible at our childcare. We take your preferences into account during our planning and strive to fulfill your wishes to the best of our ability.
That depends on various factors including preferred days, how many days you need, and how flexible you are. For example, the likelihood of a placement becoming available for one day is greater than three or four days becoming available in one go. The more flexible you are as a parent, the greater the likelihood that we will be able to offer you a place.
