Childcare Delft Hugo de Grootstraat

Delft Hugo de Grootstraat is located in a former school building with lots of character and an impressive play-hallway. There are multiple workshop ateliers where children can discover and do arts and crafts in small groups, while the light falls through the stain glass windows into the hallway.   In the protected discovery garden children can romp around and cycle. For the youngest there is a special baby area where they can safely enjoy the fresh air. Older children can transfer smoothly to the after school care in the same building.

Kindergarden Delft Hugo de Grootstraat offers:

  • Childcare from 2 months to 4 years
  • Groups with peers (horizontal groups)
  • 2 baby groups (0 - 2 years)
  • 3 toddler groups (2 – 4 years and 3 – 4 years)
  • 1 vertical group (0 t/m 4 years)

In addition to the centre at the Hugo de Grootstraat, there are also centres at the Buitenhofdreef, Reinier de Graafweg and Vulcanusweg.

After school care

Childcare Delft Hugo de Grootstraat

Our after school care near Delft centre is located on the spacious, modern and light top floor of a characteristic former school. Intentionally away from school for true free time and free choice. Here your child gets the attention it needs. With a maximum of 20 children per group our passionate team ensures room for each individual, with respect for one another. The kids committee allows the children to make their own suggestions for fun activities.

What does an afternoon look like at after-school care?

When we arrive at the location we always start with a fruit snack and something to drink. In the meantime we catch up with the children. After that, your child has plenty of time to participate in activities or can decide what to do for him or herself.

It feels good to get rid of that excess energy after a busy school day. We offer new and exciting activities daily, both indoors and out, linked to science, creativity, cooking, and sports & games. Your child can choose to join one of the workshops or play in the construction- and doll corners, the arts atelier or the open stage. Of course he or she can also decide to sit back in the relax corner, do some reading or do homework in the quiet homework room.

We have a private outdoors area and there is a discovery playground with climbing wall within walking distance.
