Childcare centre

Zeist Choisyweg

The style elements of the ‘Amsterdamse School’ have been preserved in the old Choisy school which you can recognize by the light, spacious groups. Just like it used to be in days gone by, cheerful children's voices fill the halls. The former playground is now covered with a glass roof, creating a large indoor playroom, the Oranjerie. This borders on the groups of our domestic after-school care.

Childcare centre Kindergarden Zeist Choisyweg offers:

  • Childcare from 2 months to 4 years
  • Three groups of 0-2.5 years
  • Three groups of 2 - 4 years
  • Spacious, light indoor playroom
  • Cosy after-school care
  • Good parking, near exit roads

Kindergarden Zeist also has a branch at the Hortensialaan and on the Lindenlaan.

After school care

Zeist Choisyweg

Choisyweg after-school care

What does an afternoon look like at after-school care?
After school we always start with something to eat and drink. We offer moments of rest while the children talk about their day and enjoy a vegetable or fruit snack. On Wednesdays and Fridays, most children are already free in the afternoon. We then start with a freshly prepared, warm meal. On the other days there is a buffet ready with all healthy products that the children can choose from. After that your child has plenty of time to participate in activities or chose his or her own activity. Childeren from the age of 7 years have the freedom to plan their one afternoon usefully

What is there to do?
Have you lost your energy after a busy school day? The activities at our after-school care are subdivided into individual activities, small and large group activities. This allows us to offer them at different times in the day's rhythm. For example during free play, eating, care and circle moments. There is plenty of diverse activities; from theatre and sports lessons to craft activities. Also making music, dancing or playing a game together at the table. Reading a book or just chilling out? That is of course also possible. In addition, we often go to the park or the forest to play outside.

Living rooms
We have a living room for the 4+ children, and a separate living room for the 7+ children. These nice spaces are there to be together, relax, play and build.

Children are introduced to nutrition and cooking. They learn to use equipment and are encouraged to do everything themselves as much as possible.

Everything revolves around Nature and Technology. Do experiments? Growing vegetable? Work with a microscope? Care for giant snails? Everything is possible!

In the Atelier creativity is queen: there are easels, book ideas, a drawing machine and we tinker with clay and other challenging materials.

Computer room
This concerns information and education: children can do homework, practice math and spelling, write stories and / or poems or produce a video.

Outside is just as important as inside! We have our own outdoor area (divided over three squares) where there is plenty of space within the fences for playing football, running around and space for your selfmade games.

Do you want to know more? Ask during a tour or inquire at our head office. Is your child under the age of 4? Then you can also come to us for childcare.
