Challenge, relaxation and development
The best after-school adventure for your child begins in Houten. In preparation for elementary school, children are already cared for at our after-school care (BSO). This way, they are familiar with the team and the spaces that stimulate all areas of development. This familiarity helps them feel comfortable when they start school. And everything is under one roof, just a minute's walk from our daycare.
Rich and varied activities
Everyone on our team has their own specific talent. This makes our range of activities very rich and varied. Sports, cooking, and taking care of the animals are very popular. We have a beautiful soccer cage, a large gym, and a basketball area. Children see our BSO as a club they love to go to. They have a say in what they do and find each other in their activities. This creates a pleasant, friendly atmosphere.
Children's meeting
During the children's meeting, they learn to make decisions together, speak in a group, and motivate their point of view. They give their opinion or advice: what are we going to do this summer vacation? Make a new insect hotel, build a hut from old pallets, or organize a treasure hunt through the bamboo forest? It's their free time, their place!

Our BSO is very easy to reach and is close to the A27 highway.
Important information
Note! Because the daycare location (Kindergarden Draaibrug) is within walking distance, our older toddlers go to Kindergarden Tuibrug for care in preparation for elementary school. This way, they become familiar with the team and the location, which promotes a smooth transition to the school period.
What You Need to Know:
- The LRK number for the older toddler group is different from that of the BSO and can be found further down this page.
- The rates for the older toddlers are the same as for the daycare at Kindergarden Draaibrug.

Creative studioWe often split the toddler and preschool groups into smaller groups so we can carry out an activity with more focus and attention. For example, in our workshop, we offer different craft materials than in the group, such as magic sand.

Discovery labIn our laboratory, children can research, experiment, and discover! Through experiments, children get to know biology, physics, chemistry, and technology in a playful way.

Kids’ kitchenA real children's kitchen where everything is adjusted to child height. Here, we teach the children how to cut, knead, bake, and work together. We educate them about (healthy) ingredients, working independently, and following recipes. We truly give them something for the future by teaching them new skills.

Active outdoor playPlaying outside is not only healthy. Children learn and play differently outside than they do indoors. That's why we are often found outside, always under supervision, of course!
