Early in March 2023, we opened our second location in Weesp: a former police station that we transformed into a challenging, instructive environment for the children. Parents will immediately feel welcome there, thanks to the friendly, helpful atmosphere. There are three baby groups on the ground floor, and two toddler groups and an infant group on the first floor. The older toddlers group is located on the next floor up.
We are very proud of our garden. Two of the baby groups can open just one door to gain access to the adjacent, enclosed outdoor playground. For the older children, there is a covered play barn with artificial grass and lighting, so we can still go outside even when the weather is bad. The garden includes a sandbox, movable elements and a floating inflatable cushion for wobbly walking – a great way to develop balance and gross motor skills.
We have many creative childcare staff members on our team who are an asset when it comes to activities like making music, or doing crafts using natural materials from the garden. These materials go inside to the sensory bin or get turned into artworks on paper. We love nature!
Our location is situated at the edge of the Weesp town center and is easily accessible by public transport. It is about a ten-minute walk away from Weesp station, and is also easy to reach by car. There is sufficient paid parking right on our doorstep.
