Kindergarden Stadshoeve will be opening its doors in September 2024 in a truly special place at the heart of the thriving Stadshoeve neighbourhood. This unique location is our second location in Zwolle and was designed entirely with childcare in mind.
Outdoors, children can enjoy their freedom and independence to the full. We’ve tailored our spacious and specially-designed after-school care garden adjacent to the location especially for this! Inside you’ll find a special children’s kitchen where everything is at a child-friendly height. As well as learning chopping, kneading, baking and cooperation skills here, we’ll also teach them all about healthy ingredients, working independently and following recipes.
This location is situated in a child-friendly neighbourhood, which includes a petting farm. All this will ensure that children can enjoy a varied and rich learning experience. We also share a joint car park on which parking is entirely free.
Stadshoeve is an upcoming and lively neighbourhood and our location is at the heart of this thriving area. It’s interesting to note that the location was constructed on the remains of the outer walls of Werkeren Castle, giving our childcare location a tangible sense of history.

Studio
The children can really give a free rein to their fantasy and creativity here. We challenge them by offering many different types of materials (wood, bricks, clay, paint, and such things as Ecoline). So they’re not only doing crafts and drawing but also designing, building, and handcrafts.

Large garden
We have a large garden around the after-school club, which is separate from the daycare center garden. We also play outdoor sports including soccer.

Kids’ kitchen
We have a real Kids’ kitchen that’s been adapted for a child’s height. The children learn chopping, kneading, baking, and working together here. We teach them all about healthy ingredients, working independently and following recipes.

Various corners
Children have different interests, which is why we’ve set up various corners. We have a real stage with puppet theater, large and small building corners and even a ceiling-high wooden playhouse including a large kitchen and washing machine.

Pick up from school
Depending on distance from school with BSO bus, cargo bike or on foot.
Workshops and activities
Organized by the pedagogical staff of the location.
Outings
External outings during the holiday period (under supervision).
Hot lunch
On Wednesdays and Fridays and during holidays.
