Who we are

Kindergarden is a professional childcare organization. Every day, more than 1900 employees enthusiastically dedicate themselves to caring for our youngest generation with loving attention. Kindergarden started up in 1998 with one branch in Weesp. There are now more than 70 branches throughout the Netherlands. Since 2011, we’ve been part of Bright Horizons, one of the largest childcare organizations in the world. This provides us with access to an extensive source of knowledge and expertise and gives us the opportunity to grow.

Bright Horizons

Bright Horizons, our parent organization, creates development opportunities for children, building on their personal strengths and talents and enabling them to develop into spontaneous, confident and successful individuals. There are 700 Bright Horizons branches around the world. The company provides childcare services for companies such as IBM, Unilever, Starbucks and Warner Bros. In 2014, Bright Horizons was named one of Fortune Magazine’s ‘100 best companies to work for’ for the 15th time.

Market leader in Family Solutions

Bright Horizons is America’s market leader in Family Solutions. Children and parents can be sure of receiving the care they need by means of a complete package that includes childcare, after-school care, homework assistance and back-up care. Kindergarden benefits from the extensive knowledge and expertise of Bright Horizons. While we are already progressive and innovative, our organization also continues to develop.
