Vacation After-School Care at Kindergarden

Looking for extra childcare for your child during the school vacation? All our locations are now offering vacation after-school care during school vacations. We offer a varied program full of fun activities and creative workshops during the vacation period. Your child is more than welcome, even if you’re not yet using our regular after-school care. It also makes no difference which school your child attends.

A vacation full of fun!

There’s a lot of fun to be had at Kindergarden’s after-school care, especially during the vacations. The children get to enjoy a challenging, creative, and flexible vacation program that includes special projects, workshops, and fun trips. Creating and performing a musical together? Visiting the petting zoo? Or building mini huts? Anything can happen. Children really look forward to school vacations at our after-school care.

Everything you need to know about our vacation after-school care

Your child is welcome to join us during school vacations between 7.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. (Monday through Friday). We provide lunch every day so your child has plenty of energy to enjoy the many activities we offer.

A typical vacation program is shown below for your information. Your location will send you the actual program four weeks prior to the vacation period. If you’d like to know more, see the bottom of this page for the answers to frequently asked questions.

A sample vacation program

Monday - Nature bingo in the woods

We’ll start the week in the nearby woods. First, we’ll all get to work making our own bingo cards featuring things you can find in the woods. The children will try to find all the items shown on their cards during the walk. If they find everything, the bingo game is complete!
Tuesday - Making pizza rolls

Today we’ll be diving into our kids’ kitchen. Your child can choose their own toppings and we’ll go grocery shopping together. Then at lunchtime, the kids get to feast on some delicious and healthy pizza rolls.
Wednesday - Sports day

We’re organizing a sports day for the children who like sports. If your child prefers free play, that’s fine, too. We always offer space for personal choices.
Thursday - The big after-school care talent show

It’s time for our big after-school care talent show! Who wants to be a jury member or the host? Anyone want to make the microphone for the presenter? After making all the preparations and rehearsing, the children get to perform their act in small groups - it’s sure to be an amazing show!
Friday - Making masks

We're wrapping up the week on a creative note. The children will be making their own masks; maybe an animal, a superhero, or something entirely unique. And of course, there’ll be plenty time afterward to play together wearing their masks.

Your child gets to choose for themselves at Kindergarden’s after-school care. What does your child enjoy doing? What are they good at? That’s what we’re all about. There’s plenty to do both indoors and out at our locations, as well as space for just chilling out. Our childcare professionals respond to your child’s interests. This helps your child discover their interests, enabling each child’s talents to grow naturally.
