Our locations are strategically situated throughout Amsterdam. Wherever you live, we have the facility that fits you and your child(ren). In Amsterdam Center, you’ll find 2 of our locations; Kindergarden Former Stadstimmertuin, a historic building with a beautiful garden, and Kindergarden Herengracht.

In Amsterdam North, Kindergarden Bremstraat is located, where your child plays in the unique rooftop garden. This location is near the new Overhoeks residential area, not far from the A10. In Amsterdam East, you’ll find 5 of our locations, each with their own charm and strategic positioning. Looking for a location in Amsterdam South? Kindergarden Zuidas is our bamboo-clad oasis. Since we receive many expats here, our educational staff are bilingual, with Dutch as the main language. Kindergarden Nassaukade, Kindergarden Villa Vondel, and Kindergarden Vondelstraat are our locations in Amsterdam (Old-)West. These locations have a green and challenging garden, where there’s plenty to experience for your child.

Seeing others eat, encourages you to eat, which is why we prepare our own fresh, hot lunch every day to eat together with the children. They can then learn from each other and your child will discover new flavors.

In our Wereldwijs educational programme, we explain how we provide that attention and guidance at our childcare centres, and the reasons for our method. Thanks to this programme, you as a parent will know about the development points that our attention is focused on.

In short they include providing a rich learning environment, completely attuned to your child’s experiences. We ensure that there is a clear daily rhythm and an effective group structure. Your child will be placed in a group of peers, so that the rooms, rhythms and activities are best suited to your child’s stage of development. We cook fresh and healthy food every day in our own kitchen. All of our locations have an adventure garden where your child can explore nature and play to its heart’s content.

After a day at school, children just want to relax, run around, play and be with friends their age. At our after-school care, we give your child all the space it needs to run free. We challenge children by offering them all kinds of equipment, toys and activities, but ultimately your child decides what it wants to do that day.

This gives them the confidence to make their own decisions, so that they can discover their own talents. Where better for children than in an inspiring and challenging environment? While at the same time being supervised and encouraged by loving, specialised staff? Children aged 4 to 12 develop rapidly, each in their own unique way. All attention and guidance at our after-school care centre in Amsterdam are therefore dedicated to that personal development.

Needless to say, your child is collected from school and taken to the after-school care safely. Our locations provide plenty of space, they are equipped with cosy and inviting, high-quality furnishings and fittings. Everyday we cook healthy and varied food in our own kitchen together with the children.

The expected waiting time for a place at Kindergarden in Amsterdam varies depending on several factors, such as the required days, the parents’ flexibility and availability of places. We have two types of waiting lists: an internal priority waiting list for siblings and for requests for extra days for children who already have a place, and a general waiting list for children not yet placed. The waiting time may be several months because we depend on cancellations or changes to the plans to make new places available.
