Starting January 2026, you can pre-register your child. You will be placed on our waiting list, and we will keep you updated in the meantime. We will make you a childcare offer once the opening date is clear. Expected opening mid 2026.

Mid 2026, we proudly open our new location in Doetinchem, situated in the beautiful Sint-Martinuskerk and the associated parish. This is our first location in Doetinchem. This historic church has been completely renovated and designed with childcare in mind, while preserving the church's atmosphere. Our new location offers space for baby groups, toddler groups, and preschool groups, which are spread across the church and the parish. In the church itself, two glass rooms will be placed, fully tailored to the needs and requirements for childcare. We are transforming the church into a pleasant and comfortable place for your child.

At Kindergarden Doetinchemseweg, we provide a safe, trusted place for your child with lots of personal attention and loving care. Every day, we cook fresh and healthy food in our own kitchen, so your child feels just like at home. Our garden is a true oasis for the children, with plenty of space to play and explore. Additionally, there is a special baby garden where the youngest ones can safely enjoy the fresh air.

Horizontal Groups

Your child will be in a group with peers, so spaces, rhythms, and activities are optimally tailored to their developmental stage. We stimulate children's development by giving them the freedom and independence to explore the world around them.

Good Accessibility and Ample Parking

The location is easily accessible by car, bike, and on foot. There is ample free parking available, so you can easily park when dropping off and picking up your child.

Our large green garden with shady spots truly invites exploration and play. Everything ensures that a child is invited to discover in our adventurous garden.

Every day, the toddlers exercise with Friends call me Jim. Using characters and magical stories, we stimulate the children's imagination and experience, helping them discover the joy of movement.
Quiet play areas

Our baby group(s) are set up so that every child aged 0 to 2 years can play and relax in peace. There is a choice of our black and white corner, reading corner, kitchen unit, large play mat, or our mirror with sensory tiles.
Independent sleeping

For the toddlers and preschoolers, we aim to increase their independence. The toddlers (who still nap) sleep in our sleep theater, each in a fixed spot on their own mattress. When they are awake, we encourage them to dress themselves.
Playing in the babygarden

In our baby garden, babies safely enjoy the fresh air in their own enclosed garden. Meanwhile, the older children can also have fun playing in the sandbox or racing on the small bikes or go-karts.

When do I need to register for childcare?

To increase the chances of securing a spot, we recommend enrolling your child as soon as possible at our childcare. We take your preferences into account during our planning and strive to fulfill your wishes to the best of our ability.

How likely is it that I will be given a place?

That depends on various factors including preferred days, how many days you need, and how flexible you are. For example, the likelihood of a placement becoming available for one day is greater than three or four days becoming available in one go. The more flexible you are as a parent, the greater the likelihood that we will be able to offer you a place.

When will I hear whether there is a place?

If you’re seeking a place quickly, we’d be happy to look at the options available in our schedule. At the busier locations, we often work approximately four months ahead, so it can take some time before you hear from us. If there’s a waiting list, we rely on cancellations/schedule changes for new places to become available.

Are you pregnant and looking for a place in the longer term? We have horizontal groups at Kindergarden and this affects how far ahead we can plan. Horizontal means that children move on to the next group at a certain time. As we take a child’s development and age and the days that a child spends at the daycare center into account, we plan four to six months ahead, depending on how busy the center is. A schedule can also change a lot. Factors that influence this include registration of siblings (they are given priority), schedule changes for children who already have a placement (switching days or increasing the number of days), and cancellations.
