Good Governance: A modern and healthy organization

Our stakeholders, society, and the regulator view Kindergarden as a modern and healthy organization. Our culture helps us operate transparently and responsibly. In developing our sustainability program, we actively involve stakeholders such as parent committees, suppliers and landlords.

Responsible business conduct

Good governance forms the foundation of a sustainable organization. That is why we prioritize quality, safety, integrity, risk management, and transparency.

Safety and quality

The safety and development of children always come first. We carefully record and analyse incidents and use the insights gained to continuously improve our ways of working and our processes. In addition, our locations are periodically inspected by the municipal health service (GGD).

Integrity and respect

Our HEART principles form the foundation for how we work together. They help us create an open, respectful, and safe environment for children, parents, and employees.

Risk management and compliance

Kindergarden has an organization-wide risk monitoring system that enables us to monitor risks related to quality, safety, people, finance, and laws and regulations. This allows us to take timely action and adjust where necessary.

Sustainable Future focus group

The Sustainable Future focus group was launched in 2024. Enthusiastic employees contribute ideas and initiatives that support a more sustainable organisation. The group meets several times a year to exchange ideas, share knowledge and discuss the progress of sustainability initiatives. We also regularly draw inspiration from external experts.

β€œIn the focus group, you can share your ideas about sustainability. You learn more about this topic through the inspiring sessions, which also feature guest speakers. You also get to meet colleagues from other locations!”
