Extensive Range of Activities
From our studio come the most creative crafts and drawings. We adapt the materials to the children’s world, so new things are always being created, keeping it challenging. We work with a planning board; all play areas can be found on it. From the building mat with LEGO, Kapla, and Playmobil to our home corner with a real wooden house in the middle of the BSO. In the lab, the older children at the BSO can work independently on various experiments and games designed for the 7+ age group. During the holidays, we go out and have a daily activity plan. This can include going to the forest, visiting Wolfslaar petting zoo, or a workshop on location. We also take the children shopping or cook or bake something; everything is covered during the holidays.
Spacious, green garden
Our park-like monastery garden is an oasis of tranquility. Ideal for picnicking, and of course, the children can play, build tents, and climb trees. There is also a sandbox with a water pump and a driveway where they can play soccer. Kindergarden Breda Zuid is located near the highways to Utrecht and Tilburg.

Relaxation CornerOur facility has a warm and homely atmosphere. In the living area, children can relax nicely after a busy day at school. They can enjoy chilling on the couch or in the bean bags with a good book.

Spacious gardenPlaying outside is not only healthy for children. Outdoors, they learn and play in a different way than indoors. In our large garden, children can unwind after school by playing soccer, badminton, or softball.

Quiet reading cornerA place to unwind. Take a moment for yourself by quietly reading a book or magazine. The selection is vast: from picture books to reading books. Many children curl up on the couch in the afternoon to read a Donald Duck.

Themed week during holidaysEvery holiday, there is a unique vacation schedule with its own activities, or someone might come to give a workshop, such as an experiment workshop. There is always a nice variety of activities at the facility and outings, such as to the playground, strawberry farm, or making ice cream at the ice cream shop.

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to work with children. Although I have worked in education, I truly found my passion in after-school care and working with toddlers. I find it both challenging and incredibly rewarding, and it gives me a great deal of energy.
With a background in visual arts education, I help children develop their self-confidence and self-expression. I am grateful to be able to contribute to this growth and development. What makes this work so meaningful to me is collaborating with the children, learning together through play and discovering their unique talents. This age group is especially special to me because one moment we can be laughing together wholeheartedly, and the next we can be having a beautiful and heartfelt conversation. That combination makes every day different and truly rewarding.
