Society: we foster an open culture

Kindergarden is an inclusive, diverse childcare center. We strive to ensure that all the children in our care feel welcome and appreciated. We also place a high priority on diversity and inclusion with respect to our current and future employees. We are committed to the well-being of our employees and children, and we consider it our duty to eliminate child labor from our supply chain.

Diversity and inclusion

Kindergarden is an inclusive and diverse childcare center and all children in our daily care feel welcome and appreciated. We offer equal opportunities and a safe, supportive environment for everyone.

We also prioritize diversity and inclusion for both current and future employees. We foster a work environment in which everyone feels respected and included, and we value diverse perspectives and experiences.

 Well-being of employees and children

Achieving personal growth is all about challenging yourself and becoming an inquisitive, curious, and open-minded person. We want our employees to be able to continue developing their skills. We also offer support for mental and physical well-being️. Our children enjoy a healthy start to every day.

Child labor

We see it as our duty to make a positive impact not only on the development of the children in our care, but also on the children who play a role somewhere in our supply chain. We want to prevent the products we purchase for “our” children from forcing children elsewhere into child labor. We maintain close contact with our suppliers regarding ethical labor standards and adhere to purchasing terms that include human rights provisions.

Strong together against child labor

Kindergarden works with other child care organizations to identify, prevent and address child labor in supply chains. We aim to use our insights to promote responsible purchasing throughout the child care sector, so that children around the world can have a bright future.

We have consulted our stakeholders (parent committees, suppliers and landlords) on the structure of our program, and we also involve them in the decision-making process as we go along.
