Childcare centre

Childcare The Hague Alexanderstraat

Our centre at the Alexanderstraat in the Zeeheldenkwartier has been open since 2013. The impressive, attractively decorated hall at the front is part of a national monument. Each group enjoys a spacious and interesting area, and your child can enjoy reading in the library or tinkering in the crafts studio. Because of its international character, English is spoken at this centre.

Kindergarden Den Haag Alexanderstraat offers:

  • Childcare from 2 months to 4 years
  • Groups with peers (horizontal groups)
  • 3 baby groups (0 - 2 years)
  • 3 infant groups (1 - 3 years)
  • 3 toddler groups (2 - 4 years)
  • Ample parking
  • Own crafts studio and library
  • A pedagogical expert

In addition to the centre at the Alexanderstraat, there are centres at the Bezuidenhoutseweg, Bosbesstraat  and Eisenhowerlaan  in the Statenkwartier.

After school care

Childcare The Hague Alexanderstraat

During after school care at the Alexanderstraat centre in the Zeeheldenkwartier we give your child the attention it needs. There are a maximum of 20 children per group. That means peace and space to play. Domesticity and individual attention are paramount for our enthusiastic team. Due to its international character, English is spoken at this centre.

What is an afternoon of after school care like?

After school, we always start with something to eat and drink. Meanwhile, we catch up with the children. Most children finish school early on Wednesdays and Fridays, around noon. Then we start with a freshly cooked, hot meal. On the other days there is a buffet with lots of healthy products for the children to choose from. After that, your child has plenty of time to participate in activities or to do fill the afternoon as it pleases.

A chance to get rid of some access energy after a busy school day: We offer new activities daily, such as gym class, dancing or playing a game together at the table. Reading a book or doing crafts are well-liked alternatives.

We have a separate garden with enough space to play football or play tag. The big sandbox is perfect to make the finest sand and mud creations.

Bring a friend - day

During the holidays it's bring a friend - day regularly. Your child can then bring along a boyfriend or girlfriend. This is also possible on regular schooldays, in consultation with the centre.

Homework supervision

The further your child is in elementary school, the more homework it gets. We supervise your child when needed.

After school care times

Regular care times are on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 15:00 to 18:30 and Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 to 18:30, with the possibility to extend until 19:00. During school holidays and study days, your child is welcome from 07:30 to 18:30, with the possibility of extending the day between 7:00 and 7:30 and 18:30 to 19:00. On public holidays, as well as the week between Christmas and New Year, we are closed.

Pick up

There are many primary schools close by. At the moment, we only pick up children at the Haagsche Schoolvereniging on the Nassaulaan. Would you like to know more? Ask a guided tour or inquire at our headquarters. Is your child younger than 4 years? You can also contact us for childcare.
